NISPOM download
The current National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (DoD 5220.22-M)
was issued in February 2006 and eight Industrial Security Letters (ISLs) have been
issued by the Defense Security Service between then and June 2010. The Defense Security
Service issues ISLs occasionally for "information and clarification of existing policy and
requirements." Companies and organizations with a facility security clearance are
required to comply with guidance that the Defense Security Service puts forth in ISLs in
addition to that in the NISPOM. Thus, we recommend purchasing the NISPOM with all
six of the ISLs below, rather than relying on only the free NISPOM without the ISLs
offered here.
To pay for the NISPOM with ISLs below, you will be taken to PayPal's secure Web site. If
you log into a PayPal account to pay for it, you should be automatically returned to our
site to download the file. If you pay using a credit card without logging into a PayPal
account, upon completing the transaction you will need to click the "Return to Secure
Defense Consulting Inc." button to download the file.
